I gather that this range has a digital readout which may be adjusted to express temps in F or C. If that’s the problem, rather than a conversion formula, go to the Whirlpool website, enter the model number, and print the owner’s manual. Other option is to call a local dealer and see if they can walk you through it over the telephone.

You should never buy almost new when it comes to dishwashers. Go back to the source you bought it from and also check if the valve is on.

If you just bought it, the shipping tools were probably never removed, especially if it is a front loader.
To verify it, run it with no clothes in it.

put a glass of water on washer to see if it is level if it is not adjust legs till it is.

you probably have to purchase a complete valve supply kit and install if the supply inlet is not visible
