Ray Mond/Relationships (2024)

Yuno is Ray's long-lost twin brother, allegedly separated at birth. They reunited shortly after both arrived in Los Santos for the first time. The siblings notably share personality traits such as impulsiveness and a desire to make friends with people from different groups and walks of life.

When they first met, they bonded doing petty crimes together, but their criminal paths took them in separate directions, as Ray joined Chang Gang and Yuno became a member of the Cleanbois. However, they continued to hang out casually, doing various activities and events together.

After both returned to the city, they have continued to occasionally hang out, and eventually became roommates in The Gworls' house. After Ray became Hiccups, Queen of Clowns, Yuno has expressed interest in hanging out with the Clowns under the name "Hostage."

In the past, they were together referred to as the Infernal Twins. It has been said by some they possess unnatural luck (colloquially referred to as "plot armor"), especially in risky situations. Examples include avoiding arrest, surviving falls from great heights, and winning every game of Clown Risk they have participated in.

Using Ray's blood recovered from Humane Labs and Research, used in experiments by the Mimes, Dr. Krystal Bordier was able to determine she shared the same mother as Lily, to the surprise of everyone involved. If not a shared mother, than both Ray and Yuno's mother, and Lily and Bringle Dingus' mother, are identical twins, making them all cousins.

Vinny originally tasked Ray with selling thermite for him, but became one of her biggest supporters for membership in Chang Gang. Ray has long considered Vinny her father figure; in return, he treats her fondly, referring to her as his "little one."

During the City Council shooting trial for Chang Gang, Vinny told Ray he plans to adopt her when they are both available to go to City Hall together, after his prison sentence was finished.

Since paperwork ended up not being required, they ended up confirming their adoption on June 15th, 2024.

Vinny's other adoptive daughter. Ray and Novah have not been particularly close, but Novah early on suspected Ray and Chatterbox's relationship, and also enjoys hanging out with him and the other clowns.

Ray and Taco bonded together selling weed. Taco quickly became a protective brother figure to Ray. They often goof around, sometimes violently, as siblings often do. Taco has been strongly supportive of Ray becoming a clown (he was already close friends with Kirk Jerkems), and very defensive of her relationship with Chatterbox, claiming he would leave Chang Gang if Ray was forced to as well.

During Mumbles' Peep Camp, a weekend event where various clowns and friends learned the art of peeping from him, Ray was teamed up with Tessa Lamb as her partner. One part of the event was a competition to dress together as a theme. Ray and Tessa dressed up as "sexy" versions of Mumbles, but Ray took it further and called herself "Mombles", and that she "birthed that b*tch". Since that weekend, Ray and Mumbles refer to each other as mother and son, even after Ray stopped wearing the "Mombles" outfit, even suggesting to Chatterbox that he is Mumbles' "Step-Papibox".

Ray called on Mumbles' peeping assistance to look out for Gigi Costello when they began their feud.

When Ray, Chatterbox, and Mumbles finally had a chance to discuss the matter (and Mumbles wanted to do a family fishing trip), Ray finally admitted she was trying to adopt Mumbles (as well as other clowns, like Wendy Thomas and Snuffles) to entrap Chatterbox in their relationship and that she did not actually "birth" him. Mumbles, however, continues to treat her as his mom sometimes, as well as Chatterbox as step-dad.

Before the economic collapse, Ray considered Eugene like a grandfather when they were both members of Chang Gang. After returning to the city, Ray eventually came across Eugene and immediately called him grandfather again. He remains fond of her, despite his distaste for the Clowns.

Eugene was the person responsible for rescuing Ray when she was stranded on a rock in Paleto Bay after being dumped in the ocean. He picked her up by helicopter and took her to the hospital.

Prior to the economic collapse, Ray and Chatterbox had a few encounters which taught Chatterbox she was a member of Chang Gang. When Ray returned to the city, they were enemies. Their empathy towards each other’s past losses, shared feelings of being misunderstood, and penchant for chaotic, wild ideas built the foundation for their friendship and eventual relationship.

Chatterbox suggested to Ray that the two of them pretend to date to stop Ember Quinn from pursuing him. After bouts of jealousy and multiple times where both of their lives were in danger, they confessed their feelings for one another, and Chatterbox, as recently proclaimed King of the Clowns, asked Cups to be his Queen, which she accepted. Following a brief period of uncertainty, using terms like "boy-yuck" and "queen" for each other, they officially became boyfriend and girlfriend. Ray and Chatterbox are both new to relationships, but work together as a team.

Although CG and the Clowns are historically enemies, neither has seriously attempted to separate the couple. There was an incident where, after Mr. Kebun discovered that Chatterbox and Ray were involved and put Ray was put on probation, which because of the miscommunication briefly caused Ray to consider leaving CG for the Clowns. Once the miscommunication was cleared up with a warning about how love could make someone do stupid things, Ray was able to remain a loyal member of CG while dating Chatterbox.

Ray has been described as “good toxic” by Chatterbox, which he likes and finds exciting. Ray has described Chatterbox as "the best boyfriend ever" for setting a standard she believes no other person could ever live up to. However, due to her own insecurities and issues accepting she is in a positive, loving relationship, Ray will periodically test Chatterbox's boundaries with pranks about leaving him, to see if he will stay with her. It is a flaw that she is trying to work on.

Eventually, on June 17th, Chatterbox proposed to Ray, and she accepted. However, a disagreement between them over prioritizing between him and Chang Gang eventually led to both being dumped in the ocean, setting off a chain of events that affected the Clowncil and led to Ray's memory loss and split personalities. Ray gave the engagement ring back to Chatterbox, telling him she would take it back when she was better again.

Ray ended up deciding to leave the city to work on herself away from everyone else for a time. When Chatterbox offered her the ring back to hold on to, she declined, so he gave her his mask instead. Things remain complicated between them.

They arrived in the city around the same time, joined Chang Gang together and have gone through a lot. They had a brief falling apart during the economic collapse but solidified their friendship and created their own group, The Gworls.

The owner of the Gworls house, Max has been a good friend and confidant of Ray's since her return to the city. He also helps manage money laundering for her and Chatterbox.

Twinkles is one of her earliest clown friends. Twinkles was a clean clown and often associated with Ray's civilian friends. Twinkles developed an unrequited crush on Ray and was heartbroken when she started dating Chatterbox for real, but he ended up getting over it. The two remain very good friends.

Ray's other earliest friends since returning to the city. Ray, Kitty, and Gigi hung together a lot prior to April moving back. Kitty has been a confidant of Ray's on main issues, but their relationship was strained recently and they are now on a "clean slate."

Ray moved in with Kitty when she no longer felt safe living across the street from the Bondi Boys MC.

Kitty, one of the few people Ray recognized outside of her gang when she lost her memories, was instrumental in helping her recover.

One of the most prominent women in the Clowns, Ray and Sooty bonded while dealing with BonBon. Ray looks up to Sooty as a fellow "clady", and often feels Sooty is more deserving of the title of Queen. Sooty, on the other hand, sees herself to Ray as Janky is to Chatterbox.

Timothy is like a little brother to Ray, and one of her housemates. Timothy had mentioned that Ray Mond is his ride-or-die.

Chatterbox's best friend, and thus has become a very good friend to Ray.

A long-time friend of Ray's, commonly grouped with April and Taco on activities. He tends to stir in her relationships with others but still makes sure to look out for her.

Often referred to as Ray's "puppy" for the way he gives her attention, Zaceed helps her with various work related to the gang.

Kevin is Ray's primary partner for Gruppe 6 runs. While together in his truck, Ray seeks his advice on matters, especially with Chatterbox, and learns gossip from outside her usual circles.

Momo has helped Ray with various petty crimes, like roof running and selling weed.

Zolo has been a helpful partner for Ray in Chang Gang's weed game. He developed a crush on her, which when revealed led to some awkwardness between her, him, and Chatterbox, but he made it up to her by inviting her on her first Cash Exchange heist.

An agent of chaos, Eli is Ray's friend and housemate. He has recently become closer with the Clowns, especially Chatterbox, and has adopted the clown name Yappy.

Chodie is Ray's primary mentor when it comes to the weed game. At one point prior to the economic collapse, many Chang Gang members considered her Chodie's weed protégée.

After returning to the city, Ray was eager to resume working for Chang Gang as a weed pusher, especially for Chodie's operation.

Ray's gang leader and one of her former in crime. He helped her get her gun license, taught her how to sell weed, and did bank heists together.

Since both returned to the city, they have not had many opportunities to work together, although one time they joked about being Taco Prince's parents to annoy him. Mr. K finally approves of her romantic relationship with Chatterbox, despite being one of his arch-enemies.

One of Ray's mentors during her time in Chang Gang prior to the economic collapse. They often worked together on bank heists. Ray also considers Ramee her preferred ex-boyfriend for April Fooze.

After Ray's return to Los Santos, she and Ramee have not had many opportunities to hang out. He has teased her about her relationship with the Clowns and Chatterbox, specifically.

Ray and Pigeon are in competition to be April Fooze's #1 best friend.

While Carmella and Ray were both in the same Chang Gang friend group prior to the economic collapse, they had little interaction with each other, mainly having April Fooze as a mutual friend. This would change after Ray's return to the city, and Carmella now a full member of Chang Gang after the events of Guatemala.

Animosities started when the Clowns showed Ray the copy of the Burn Book they suspected was written by Carmella. Ray was offended on April's behalf by the hurtful things written about her best friend, and confronted Carmella about it. Paris Argo also joined in defense of her friend to attack Ray over Twatter and the phone. At the steel foundry in Cypress Flats, Ray, Carmella, Giavanna "Gigi" Costello, and Chatterbox all met, along with others. Chatterbox threatened to drop Carmella in the smelter, but Ray intervened, as she wanted Carmella to pay the $1000 she still owed Gigi. However, when Carmella tried to run, Ray chanted to throw her in anyways, and she ended up thrown next to the smelter, seriously injured.

Ray attempted to reconcile with Carmella, as she had not understood Carmella and Chatterbox's hatred of each other, and she did not want to cause issues for Chang Gang. However, after Carmella learned from Bobby "BonBon" Beldrum about Ray shooting him at Vinewood Bowl with CG assistance, Carmella became frustrated that Ray involved the gang in her personal beef with BonBon. Ray met with Carmella and Paris at Legion Square where during their argument, Ray claimed Carmella supportted BonBon over the girls, and Carmella called Ray a "pick me".

The hostility between Ray and Carmella, as well as Carmella's frustrations with other CG members, continued to escalate, until Ray finally contacted Carmella and offered to apologize for how she had been treated. The two women made up for the time being and remain cordial. However, Chatterbox, Carmella's archenemy, is now officially Ray's boyfriend.

After Ray lost her memories, Carmella attempted to stir by telling her various lies like that Ray was auctioned for nearly nothing and had written the Burn Book.

Once upon a time, Benji was a possible romantic interest for Ray prior to her associating with the Clowns. When Ray was unconscious in ICU, Benji confessed his feelings for her. She became frustrated with him for his actions when she was dealing with BonBon and Dundee during My Criminal Academia week. After losing her memories, Benji informed her that the two had dated and had adopted Winter Sison together. Upon learning the truth, Ray became even more upset with him.

Gigi's gang leader and love interest, SK has been an antagonist for Ray and The Gworls house. This has led to frustrations between Ray and Gigi.

Carmella's best friend. Paris is not afraid to fight Ray or Chatterbox, in-person or over Twatter.

One of Ray's earliest friends since returning to Los Santos, Gigi has been at times her best friend, romantic interest, and foe. They easily bicker and argue and their relationship has been a major source of drama for Ray. They were on a "clean slate" following the events of Hazel and the PNY cards.

A few weeks later, Ray asked Gigi to help her in one of her boundary-pushing pranks on Chatterbox, by asking her to call him and tell him she was leaving at the airport. Eventually, once the prank was revealed, Ray stood by unknowingly as Chatterbox wrenched Gigi for her part in the prank, giving her a brain bleed and requiring intensive care. Ray and Chatterbox argued intensely, with at one point Ray threatening to leave him if she didn't wake up. Ray sent a message to Gigi explaining it was entirely Ray's fault she was in ICU.

When Gigi recovered, she intended to retaliate against Ray, until Carmella convinced her that it would be better to go after Chatterbox. The two conspired to kidnap him, using Carmine Costello to find his location, and pulled him away from Kirk and Wayne Freeman at gunpoint. They took him to Mount Gordo, where they explained their issues with him. Gigi ripped his mask off his face, and they left him for dead in the wilderness.

After rescue by local EMS, Chatterbox awoke in the hospital, traumatized by his lack of mask, and fled to find a paper bag covering his face. Soon after, he was able to connect with the other clowns, who informed him who had kidnapped him, and while disguised as members of the 51 Gang, searched for Carmella and Gigi, eventually finding them. After taking them to the beach, they failed to find conclusive proof that the two women had his mask, and left them behind.

The next day, Ray awoke, and very soon after, in a call with Gigi, she admitted to Ray that she had him kidnapped for his role in sending her to ICU, and that she had indeed stolen his mask. Ray reminded Gigi that she had warned her that if Gigi ever took his mask, Ray would rip off Gigi's face. Ray promised Gigi she would make good on that threat, and that the friendship they had was officially over.

Ray's first impression of BonBon was that he was the friendliest of the clowns, especially during her clown date with Chatterbox and Twinkles. Ray also knew BonBon as April Fooze's friend with whom she used to exchange bedtime stories. Giving him the nickname "Bunbun," Ray and BonBon maintained a friendly rapport until she witnessed him drop Ember Quinn into the smelter (after watching him reenact Chatterbox's killing of his wife, Giggles). Ray's view of BonBon rapidly shifted; he was not as innocent as he first seemed.

Their relationship became strained as Ray threatened to take BonBon to Clown Court, she built closer relationships with other clowns, BonBon snitched on Ray's plans to bring Carmella Corset to the smelter, and Ray and Chatterbox used BonBon as bait to test his and Carmella's newfound friendship, all of which led to BonBon being thrown in the smelter. In retaliation, BonBon would unsuccessfully try to recruit Giavanna "Gigi" Costello and Carmella for a prank against Ray.

BonBon, in an attempt to use a loophole from the Clown Code, would try to recruit the clowns in a prank against Ray by making them keep it a secret. Twinkles escaped and warned Ray, proving to BonBon that he could not trust the clowns around him and causing him to leave the New Clown Order. Soon after, Chatterbox cut off his years-long friendship with BonBon, citing BonBon's abuse of the Clown Code and threats against Ray. With Chatterbox's warnings, Ray feared that BonBon would attempt to attack her, especially after leaving the limitations of the NCO. After BonBon joined the BBMC, Ray (bringing Carmella) met up with him. This meeting was also attended by Ursula Leichenberg. To Ray's surprise, he clarified that he was not "after" her anymore and that he had a new hit list. Ray used the opportunity to gather information on his hit list by lying to him about wanting revenge on the same people as him. Ray divulged the information to Kirk Jerkems, Twinkles, and Chatterbox, so that they could get to BonBon first. Upon discovering her betrayal the same day, Ray became #1 on his hit list, escalating their feud to an obsession.

BonBon and Ray's rivalry would become complicated by the involvement of Chang Gang, The Company, and BBMC (mainly Dundee), along with the Clowns. In a one-on-one meeting at the winery, they agreed not to involve other people in their "game." Despite this agreement, BonBon would use Sooty Gamwich, Twinkles, and Chatterbox to hurt Ray (now Queen of the Clowns) at Stab City. This nearly led to war between BBMC and the NCO, until Dundee stated that the gang would be uninvolved in BonBon and Ray's rivalry as long as it was not gang-related.

Eventually, the hostilities were paused when Ray, Sooty, Chatterbox, Kirk, and Twinkles arranged for BonBon to be kidnapped and taken to the subway, where Sooty shot him in the head, took his mask, and they left him on the train tracks to be mangled by the train. After some time in the ICU, Bobby awoke, declaring "BonBon" dead and wanting to move on as just Bobby. However, his gang still wants payback.

The Prime Minister of the Bondi Boys MC, and thus Bobby's leader. Ray already had shot him years ago in a firefight, thus they had lingering hostilities even when they both became contractors at The Company. Once Dundee became personally involved in Ray and BonBon's feud, those hostilities worsened considerably.

Another member of the Bondi Boys MC that struck Ray in the hospital emergency room with a wrench. Ray has been seeking revenge since.

Ray has been a chain-holder of Chang Gang for many years. She reaffirmed her commitment to the gang when she started pushing weed for them. She now holds a key to the main CG house and has been instrumental in the business relationship between CG and the Clowns for selling weed.

She has referred to herself as a "CG Princess."

Under the name Hiccups, Ray is titled Queen of the Clowns. She is a signer of the Clown Code.

While not one of the three core leaders of the reformed Clowncil, Hiccups still commands authority and respect as both NCO Queen as well as Chatterbox's partner, and he considers her a fellow leader. Her duties have included organizing meetings and communicating with individual clowns over intra-Clowncil disputes.

After her memory loss, and Chatterbox stepping away from leadership, she is effectively not a member of the Clowncil.

The Gworls were founded by Ray and April, and consist of many of their close friends and housemates.

Ray was an NDA-signed contractor with the Company, and has completed one heist with them. The Company has since disbanded, ending her contract.
