The Dallas area is the most affordable place to buy a used vehicle in Texas, according to a recent study, and the most affordable car -- appropriately - was the Jaguar XF.
San Francisco-based Autolist.com said it considered pricing on more than 67 million used cars and trucks nationwide, concluding that the average price of a used vehicle in Texas was $21,968.
That made Texas the 12th most affordable state and $773 below the national average, according to Alex Klein, vice president of data science at Autolist.
